Jim CurranJim Curran has been practicing law since 1993. He focuses his practice on real estate (residential and commercial), family law, business transactions, and estate planning and administration. Jim is a real estate title agent and handles the buying, selling and refinancing of properties as a regular part of his practice. He handles all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, support and issues related to protection from abuse (PFA). He has handled the buying and selling of companies, frequently in conjunction with the purchase and sale of the company’s real estate. Finally, Jim handles the preparation of wills and trusts (along with living wills and powers of attorney) as well as the administration of an estate when a client passes.
Jim graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 with a B.S. in Mathematics, and received his law degree from the George Washington Law School with honors in 1993. Before attending law school, he developed large-scale econometric models for large corporations and governments as an economist for Wharton Econometrics and DRI/McGraw-Hill. Jim Curran is a member of the bar in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Mark SiskMark Sisk has been practicing law since 1979. His practice focuses on criminal representation, with a subspecialty representing students, family law, real estate (including land use, zoning and planning), civil litigation, and wills and estates. Mark handles all aspects of criminal defense, from relatively minor infractions to much more serious crimes. He is a past City Prosecutor for Newark and is able to call upon his understanding of the criminal justice system from the prosecutor’s vantage point to bring your matter to the best resolution for you. As counsel to the City of Newark and Newark Parking Authority, Mark was involved in management and land acquisitions, from the settlement perspective. Mark has provided his legal expertise to private clients, including the renovation of the historic Deer Park Tavern and the Washington House condominium on the site of the Stone Balloon Tavern.
Mark brings 31 years of legal experience to the firm. He earned his undergraduate degree from Haverford College with honors in 1974. He then graduated from Villanova Law School in 1978. Mark has been a lawyer in Delaware for 31 years. He has multi-faceted experience including criminal law, family law, wills and estates. Mark is admitted to the Delaware Bar (1979) and the U.S. District Court of Delaware (1988).
